In earlier posts, I mentioned about that I was looking for a library implemented in Modern C++ that allowed me to compose parallel tasks and help with scheduling them efficiently. Finally, I was able to play with one such project which looks promising called C++ TaskFlow. You can find it on GitHub . WebTask priorities are a quite interesting point, but this really depends on the dependencies of the graph. If the dependencies are too large, adding priorities make less sense. Having an event notification is a good idea. We will add this to our TODO list. I believe Cpp-Taskflow is now Visual Studio friendly.
