Webbwell, nioh is a very different game combat wise when compared to the souls franchise. if you approach nioh like you'd approach souls you'll probably end up limiting yourself a lot. WebbWith the brutes you pretty much have to start the burst counter while also being super close to the enemy. You basically have to hit the enemy out of the attack before it starts. With the other two, its a reactionary counter that as long as you get the timing right, you are rewarded.
